Unannounced Sony smartphone names, prices and launch timelines revealed, report claims

It seems like Sony’s entire smartphone range for 2012 has been leaked, if documents in possession of GSMArena are legit. The sheet, which the site claims comes from Sony’s India sales report, has internal codenames, launch timeline and pricing for 11 unknown Android smartphones. The report is also pegging a March launch for the XPERIA S in India at €462 or approximately Rs 30,000. We cannot verify the details of the report at the moment but we certainly have heard a couple of codenames mentioned here – Nypon and Pepper. However, this is the first time anyone has referred to the Hayabusa and Mint, which look like Sony’s flagship smartphones for 2012, if this list turns out to be legit. Stay tuned for more information.
