Videocon VT75C 7-inch tablet officially launched for Rs 6,499, supports voice calling and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Videocon’s 7-inch tablet, the VT75C which was spotted on online retail stores a couple of days back, has been officially launched in India. The tablet with voice calling abilities is priced at Rs 6,499.

In terms of specifications, the VT75C sports a 7-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. The tablet has voice calling abilities and uses a 2G SIM card and also supports 3G via USB dongle. Other features include a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 2GB of internal storage which is expandable to up to 32GB, connectivity options like Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth HDMI ports and a 3,000mAH battery. On the software side of things, the VT75C runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has pre-loaded apps like Facebook, Skype, Saavn, Diamond Twister 2, and Movie studio among others.

As we mentioned before, in terms of competition, the Videocon VT75C will go up against the recently launched Ubislate 7C+ Edge.
