Hyperloop has reportedly partnered the Maharashtra government to connect two key cities of Mumbai and Pune. With Hyperloop connectivity, transportation is expected to become both faster and safer. According to the latest report, Virgin Chairman Richard Branson confirmed that they will be soon beginning work on this project. The Hyperloop route will be developed between Pune Central, Navi Mumbai International Airport, and Mumbai.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s video leaked
MWC 2018 is right around the corner and the rumor mill is abuzz, leaking details about all the anticipated smartphones. Today, a video detailing the features of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s surfaced online. In the 12-second clip, the upcoming smartphone is shown featuring Apple iPhone X-like gesture support where swiping up brings up the task switcher. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi has not confirmed its presence at the annual tech show, but rumors indicate the company could possibly unveil its Mi 7 to compete against the Samsung Galaxy S9.
Twitter kills Mac desktop app
Sorry Mac users, the Twitter desktop app on your prized system will no longer work. Twitter announced over the weekend that it is killing its app for Mac as it channels its focus on efforts to enhance Twitter experience which is “consistent across platforms”. Twitter for Mac app is no longer available on the Mac App Store, and the support for the app will be removed within a month’s time. Users will be redirected to the website instead.
Airtel, HMD Global partner to offer cashback on Nokia 2, Nokia 3
As part of its Mera Pehla Smartphone initiative, Airtel is offering cashback offer on the Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 smartphones. The operator is also pre-bundling the Rs 169 recharge plan, which offers 1GB (4G) data per day, and unlimited local and STD calls. The Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 will effectively cost you Rs 4,999 and Rs 7,499 respectively after the Rs 2,000 cashback. However, to avail the cashback you have to achieve a certain cumulative recharge value over the course of three years.
Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ official images leaked
Another leak related to MWC 2018 showed off the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ in what looks like official product images. The set of images reiterate the specifications and features long-rumored about the flagship smartphones, and give us a glimpse into what the Lilac Purple color option looks like on the bezel-less displays. Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy S9 duo on February 25, while shipping is expected to begin March 8, 2018.
Nokia 4 to come with Snapdragon 450 SoC
