Vivo is hosting an event in India on May 29, where it will be launching the X21 smartphone. With less than a week to the launch, the Vivo X21 is up for pre-booking on the company’s official online store. In essence, one can pre-book the smartphone for themselves by paying just Rs 2,000.
When you head over to the website, you can pay Rs 2,000 to reserve a Vivo X21 for yourself. On payment, you will receive a coupon for the same amount, and you will then be able to use it for purchase after the device’s official launch. Vivo hasn’t really revealed the official pricing of its upcoming smartphone, but does mention that it will come with 128GB storage, and 6GB of RAM.
Those who plan to pre-book the Vivo X21 will also be able to avail some offers. These include five percent cashback for SBI card holders, Rs 1,000 worth of gift card from Ferns N Petals, and no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months. Vodafone subscribers will be entitled to 280GB of additional data, free one-year Red shield Device Security Solution for Red postpaid customers (Rs 499 and above plans).
The Vivo X21 is among the first commercially available smartphones to boast an under-display fingerprint sensor. The technology is developed in collaboration with Synaptics, the US-based company known for its sensor technology. It was launched in China with a price tag of RMB 3,598, which is approximately Rs 37,999.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Vivo X21 flaunts a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The rest of the features include dual-camera setup (12-megapixel+5-megapixel) at the back, 12-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,200mAh battery. On the software front, the dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
