After being leaked a few days ago in a few hands-on images, Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Vivo X30 has been leaked once again, but this time with it’s display powered on. The importance of the display powered on in this image is that this gives us an opportunity to see how the smartphone screen would actually be.
The leaked image shows an almost edge-to-edge display on the purported Vivo X30, but with an Apple iPhone X-like notch on top. Also to be noted is that while the bezels are quite narrow on the sides and the top, the thickest bezel is located below its display. The leaked image also reveals rounded corners on the smartphone, and a visibly high screen-to-body ratio.
From what has been rumored till now, the Vivo X30 like its predecessors is likely to come with a metal unibody and sport an OLED panel. Since the Vivo X20 UD was recently launched with the under-display fingerprint sensor recently, it is highly likely that the Vivo X30 will come with the technology as well.
Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC is believed to power the smartphone. A dual-camera setup is expected to be included on the back of the device, and its display will be at least 6-inches in size.
In comparison, in September last year, the Vivo X20 was launched in China. The Vivo X20 sport a 24-megapixel selfie camera and 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Similar to the leaked design of Viv X30, it came with minimal bezels around the display edges, and a thin top and bottom chin. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and also has 4GB of RAM.
