Vodafone today announced the expansion of its 4G VoLTE services in Rajasthan. The Voice over LTE service will be available for Vodafone subscribers in key cities of Jaipur and Jodhpur. The company will further make the VoLTE services available in other cities.
With the launch of 4G VoLTE services in the state, Vodafone is said to be the first GSM operator in Rajasthan to allow subscribers access to high-quality calls. The subscribers in the supported regions can access Vodafone VoLTE at no additional charge. Calls will be billed as per existing plan or pack benefits.
Vodafone recently extended its new-age calling capabilities to Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. The company says the services will be extended across the country in a phased manner over the next few months.

If you are a subscriber in the supported circles, you can start accessing Vodafone VoLTE in a few simple steps. First, you need to ensure you are on a device which is VoLTE compatible. Vodafone has supported devices listed on its website. You can check for those on by visiting vodafone.in/volte. Some of the popular devices include OnePlus 5T, 5, 3T and 3, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2 and Redmi 4, Nokia 5 and 8, Huawei Honor View 10, 9i, 7X and 8 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, J7 and Nxt.
Once you verify your device compatibility, you will be required to upgrade to the latest OS version. You also need to ensure you have a 4G SIM. In case of dual-SIM handsets, the Vodafone 4G SIM should be in SIM 1 slot with network mode turned to 4G/3G/2G (Auto).
