Vodafone has introduced a new voice and data plan for its prepaid customers. The new ‘Chhota Champion’ plan costs Rs 38 and offers users 100 local and STD calling minutes along with data benefits for a period of 28 days.

The Vodafone Chhota Champion offer includes 100MB 3G/4G data as well. The integrated plan is available for pan India subscribers, while customers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles can avail 100 local and STD voice minutes with 200MB 2G data for 28 days.

If you are a Vodafone subscriber, you can avail the benefits of the Chhota Champion pack through retail outlets, USSD, website and MyVodafone app. It is to be noted that the price of the pack may vary from circle to circle. ALSO READ: Reliance Jio’s price hike is a step back, but in the right direction

To compete with Reliance Jio, Vodafone also introduced two new plans, priced at Rs 458 and Rs 509 with unlimited calling and data access per day. Both the plans offer unlimited local and STD calls, free roaming, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB of 4G/3G data every day. While the Rs 458 plan is valid for 70 days, the Rs 509 plan comes with a validity period of 84 days.

The new plans, however, come with a catch. The ‘unlimited’ calling privilege comes with a limit of 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minuted in a week. So for example, if you exhaust the daily limit of calling, you will be charged beyond that. The total calling once in access of 16 hours a week, will be chargeable. RELATED: Reliance Jio effect: Vodafone launches Rs 458, Rs 509 plans with unlimited calling, 1GB data per day
