Vodafone, in order to compete better with Reliance Jio and Airtel, has come up with two high-data capacity plans priced at Rs 549 and Rs 799. These plans come with a daily data FUP of 3.5GB and 4.5GB respectively. Not just that, Vodafone is also launching the plans in all of its 4G circles across the country, which means most subscribers can avail the benefits of the plan.
Looking at the plans individually, the Rs 549 plan comes with a validity period of 28 days, under which it offers 3.5GB of 3G/4G data on a daily basis. That amounts up to a total of 98GB. Besides that, the plan also comes with unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day benefits.
The Rs 799 plan, on the other hand, offers a total of 126GB of data for 28 days, which makes it 4.5GB on a day-to-day basis. It also comes with same calling and SMS benefits as the Rs 549 plan. Under both plans, users also get access to free live TV, movies and video content on the Vodafone Play App.

The two Vodafone plans compete directly with Reliance Jio’s 4GB and 5GB daily data packs that are priced at Rs 509 and 799 respectively. Both Jio plans have the same 28-day validity period, and come with the same SMS and calling benefits as their Vodafone counterparts, but offer 0.5GB of more data. This means that in the case of Rs 509 plan you get a total of 112GB of data, and with the Rs 799 plan you get 140GB of data. In addition, Jio also offers complimentary subscription to its suite of apps.
