After introducing the group description feature for Windows, it looks like WhatsApp is on its way to introduce another feature to make conversations interesting for users. Spotted in the Windows Phone beta version 2.18.24, the new feature is complemented with a redesigned notification icon.

‘Stickers’ are a popular feature when it comes to messaging apps. As it has been spotted in the beta version, it would not be too late before it reaches the masses. When rolled out, Windows Phone platform will be the first to receive the Stickers feature ahead of iOS or Android platforms.

As WABetaInfo reports, when you receive a Sticker, you will see a heart-shaped logo in the notification to distinguish it from regular messages. This special logo will be visible in both iOS and Android, as and when the Stickers feature is extended to those platforms. The Stickers feature will be available for individual, and group chats as well.

In addition to the Stickers features, the beta version also brings Live Location Sharing feature which is already available on iOS and Android platform. The feature allows you to instantly share your current location with people from your contact list.

Earlier today, the company introduced a new Group Description feature. This feature is currently released for Android and Windows users, and is expected to be soon rolled out to iOS. It allows you to add a description to a group. You can add up to 500 characters in the description. The feature isn’t available for iOS, and we noticed that if an Android using member of the group adds a description, the notification is received only by other Android or Windows users, and iOS users cannot see it. Neither the description nor the notification of the update.
