Mircosoft’s yet to be announced Windows Phone 8.1 will finally feature a notification center dubbed as action center, images leaked online suggest. Winphollowers has posted screenshots of the new OS version which details some new features in the action center.
Going by the leaked screenshots, apps will be able to intelligently manage notifications and silently add, update and delay alerts on their own. Also, there will be a central location for all the missed notifications in the alert center.
Windows Phone 8.1’s action center can be pulled down to see the notification list which comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode and Driving Mode. There is ‘Clear All’ option, which can be used to clear the notifications in one go, just like we have on Android. The ‘All Settings’ option will allow configure these aforementioned quick access modes.
Microsoft has also added small yet useful feature like a battery percentage given below the battery icon, which was missing earlier.
Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1 update is slated for a launch in April.
