Xiaomi and The Viral Fever announce a strategic partnership to offer videos, web-series across Mi TVs

As a part of the partnership, users will be able to stream all the videos and web-series from TVF on their Mi TVs.

Earlier this year, Xiaomi finally brought its Mi TV range to India. Apart from aggressive pricing, the company is also betting on its content partnerships. Xiaomi and web-based content creator The Viral Fever (TVF), have announced a strategic partnership for the recently launched Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A smart TVs. As a part of the partnership, TVF will be bringing all its content including web-series and videos to Mi TVs.

TVF has also released the latest episode of its popular web series Tech Conversations with Dad which is a show about youngsters explaining the nuances of technology to their curious and clueless fathers. The latest video features Amol Parashar as the father and Kumud Mishra as the son.

Mi LED TV offers over 500,000 hours of content and TVF is a very important partner, sharing brand philosophies similar to Xiaomi in terms of disrupting industries,” Xiaomi India’s Product Manager for Mi TV, Sudeep Sahu said in a press release.

Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4 priced at Rs 39,999. The TV comes with a 55-inch 4K HDR display. And for those who don’t want a large display or have budget constrains there are two smaller models to choose from. The Mi TV 4A is offered in a 32-inch variant with HD display and priced at Rs 13,999, along with a 43-inch model which is priced at Rs 22,999 and comes with a full-HD panel. Xiaomi is offering free installation service with the purchase of these smart LED TVs.
