Xiaomi is also celebrating India’s 72nd Independence Day with its own ‘Independence Day Sale’ on mi.com. The sale is already live, and will continue till August 12. While most Xiaomi products don’t have any price difference in this sale, there are three devices – Mi MIX 2, Mi Max 2 and Mi Band 2 – that have been up for sale with a price drop.
Consumers looking to purchase a fitness band can buy the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 at a lower price during this period. The Mi Band 2 after a price drop of Rs 200 is now available for Rs 1,599, instead of Rs 1,799. Xiaomi is also offering additional Rs 150 cashback on paying through Paytm Wallet. Consumers will get 10 percent (max Rs 150) for one time per user during the offer period of August 9 to August 12. There is no minimum transaction amount required to avail this Paytm cashback offer.
For smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 are available for purchase at a very lower price during August 9 to August 12. The big-screen Mi Max 2 is up for grabs at Rs 14,999, which is Rs 1,000 down from Rs 15,999.
Other key highlight of Xiaomi’s ‘Independence Day Sale’ is the price drop on the Mi MIX 2. Xiaomi is now offering the flagship bezel-less smartphone for Rs 24,999. The company is giving Rs 5,000 discount on Mi MIX 2, which is originally priced at Rs 29,999.
Even Asus has announced some discount offers on two of its smartphones for Flipkart’s upcoming ‘Big Freedom Sale’. The two Asus smartphones that will be up for grabs under the offer are the Zenfone Max Pro (M1), and the Zenfone 5Z.
Consumers purchasing the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 as part of Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale will be able to avail Rs 500 discount on both 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants. These are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. With the available discount of Rs 500, you’ll get these for Rs 10,499 and Rs 12,499, respectively. The 6GB RAM variant isn’t part of this sale, and will continue to be available for Rs 14,999.
