As expected, Xiaomi has today launched a limited edition of the Mi 6X smartphone in China. The Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition is being sold in a special ‘gift’ box with a customized handset, priced at RMB 2,099 (approximately Rs 21,900). Xiaomi only plans to sell 5,000 units of this special edition smartphone.
While the specifications and features are the same as the standard Xiaomi Mi 6X, it is the customizations that are the talking point. Starting with the box, which includes the handset, a customized transparent plastic cover, and a 10,000mAh powerbank.
The smartphone itself comes in an eye-pleasing turquoise color with an image of Hatsune Miku on the back panel. Each smartphone also gets a unique model number that is engraved on the back panel below the image.
