We are less than a week away from Xiaomi’s May 31 event where it plans to launch a host of products, including the Mi 8. There however seems to be no stopping the rumors and leaks around the upcoming flagship device.
We have already come across leaked renders and alleged hands-on video that show what the Xiaomi Mi 8 could potentially look like. Now a massive new leak has revealed the kind of specifications and features the upcoming smartphone could boast.
Additionally, an alleged leaked Qualcomm internal document has surfaced online claiming that the Mi 8 will boast the latest Quick Charging feature, MyDrivers reports. This would be the Quick Charge 4+ standard, which was announced back in July last year. Since the official document available online doesn’t really mention the Xiaomi Mi 8, we would strongly recommend you take this with a proverbial pinch of salt.

According to leaked specifications and features shared by Techienize, the Xiaomi Mi 8 will feature a 6.2-inch full HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Quite unsurprisingly, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
The rest of the rumored features include dual-camera setup (20-megapixel+16-megapixel) at the back, 16-megapixel selfie camera, and 3,300mAh battery. On the software front, it is likely to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The leak also hints that the device will be quite thin (7.8mm), and will weigh around 172 grams.
