The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 went on its first sale today in India via Flipkart and mi.com. In today’s sale, the smartphone was sold out within minutes. While the total number of units sold isn’t known as yet, Xiaomi’s India head Manu Kumar Jain revealed that the sale got over in under three minutes. He has also announced that the next sale for the Mi MIX 2 will happen on October 24 at 12 noon.
Manu Jain also revealed that the smartphone has received an ‘Overwhelming response’ and over 1 lakh people have shown interest in the phone on Flipkart and mi.com. Launched at Rs 35,999, the smartphone’s Full HD+ IPS-LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an 18:9 screen aspect ratio is its USP. Being a bezel-less smartphone, the bottom chin of the phone sports the front camera and other sensors. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 specifications
The Mi MIX 2 features a5.99-inch bezel-less LCD display that has a full-HD+ resolution (1080×2160 pixels) at 18:9 aspect ratio. The company says the display has a pixel density of 403ppi. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, and 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS). Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera. The smartphone comes with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor. The smartphone runs on a 3,400mAh battery.
