Chinese consumers will soon be able to get their hands on a new color variant of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s. A special Emerald Green variant of the Mi MIX 2s has been unveiled, and it is set to go on sale from August 14.
Xiaomi is said to have partnered Dunhuang Research Institute to jointly develop the new color for the Mi MIX 2s, MyDrivers reports. Both are said to have worked on the new color for almost a year, before choosing the final palette. The Emerald Green color is inspired by the Dunhuang murals that are found south west of the city of Dunhuang in Gansu Province.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s features, specifications
Besides the change in color, the design, specifications, features all remain the same. Xiaomi launched the Mi MIX 2s earlier this year, but it already feels a tad dated after the launch of the truly bezel-less Vivo NEX and Oppo Find X. It is little wonder then there are rumors around Xiaomi launching the Mi MIX 3 sometime next month.
