Moto Z3 Play leak
Adding to Motorola’s Z series with semi-modular capabilities, the Moto Z3 Play was leaked through renders today. Based on those, the upcoming device could feature a dual-camera setup, 18:9 aspect ratio screen and the connector pins for the Moto Mods that are a trademark of Moto Z-series phones. It remains to be seen as to when the smartphone officially hits the market.
Samsung Android Go phone
An unnamed Samsung device showed up on Geekbench today, with entry-level hardware and running Android Oreo, which makes it the perfect recipe for an Android Go device. The purported smartphone, possibly called the Galaxy J22 Core, will be the company’s first attempt at introducing the Android Go-powered device.

Gionee S11 Lite, F205 India launch
After a hiatus, Gionee today introduced a set of new smartphones, called Gionee S11 Lite and Gionee F205. Both smartphones focus on design and boast 18:9 displays. The S11 Lite is priced at Rs 13,999 while the F205 costs Rs 8,999. From the first impressions, both appear promising in their price segments.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 leak
Firmware files of an upcoming Xiaomi tablet were leaked today. Based on those, the tablet is expected to be the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4. What is interesting is that it is likely to sport an 18:9 display, making it one of the first tablets to feature narrow bezels. It is further likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.
Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) India launch
Adding to its affordable J series, Samsung launched its Galaxy J2 (2018) model today in India. It is priced at Rs 8,190 and comes pre-loaded with Samsung Mall. Other key features include 5-inch quad HD Super AMOLED display, full HD video recording @30fps, and 16GB of internal storage.
