Keeping in mind the increasing demand, Xiaomi last week launched the 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM of its most affordable smartphone – Redmi 4A. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999, and it is all set to go on sale for the first time today. The sale will start at 12:00PM via mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, and Tata CliQ.
The base variant of the Redmi 4A, which comes with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM, is priced at Rs 5,999. Apart from the bump in storage, the rest of the specifications and features on the new variant of the phone remain the same. Mi.com gives you an option to choose from both the variants, while Amazon India and Flipkart are only conducting the sale for 32GB and 3GB RAM variant.
On Flipkart, the Redmi 4A will be available with an extra five percent discount if the purchase is made via Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card. However, on Amazon India, buyers can continue to avail the Rs 200 as an introductory offer credit for Kindle e-books. Xiaomi is also providing damage protection plan for the Redmi 4A at Rs 599. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with aperture f/2.2, and 5-element lens, with a single, LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The Redmi 4A is backed by a 3,120mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
