Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the company’s most affordable smartphone, will be going up for sale on Amazon India, starting 12:00PM today. The Redmi 4A comes in two variants, based on the storage it offers. There is a 16GB storage variant, which is priced at Rs 5,999, and there is a 32GB storage variant, which is priced at Rs 6,999.
Beside Amazon India, the Redmi 4A is also available on mi.com right now, as well as on Flipkart. Although, at the time of writing the story, only the 32GB variant in Gold color was available on Flipkart. In terms of offers, on a purchase from Mi.com, customers can avail a cashback of 10 percent on payments made via MobiKwik wallet. For purchase made via Flipkart, customers can avail 10 percent instant cashback on EMI transaction via HDFC credit card. There is also an additional five percent discount when an Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card is used for payment on Flipkart.
Additionally, if you are an existing Reliance Jio user or plan to take a new Jio connection along with your Redmi 4A, you can avail up to 30GB of additional 4G data on every recharge of Rs 309 or above. Essentially, this “up to 30GB” data means that, till March 31, 2018. Mi users are allowed a total of six recharge, each of which will offer an additional 5GB of 4G data, which will be activated in a user’s account within 48 hours. Basically, it is not a collective 30GB that you get, but an opportunity to get additional 5GB data six times in this financial year till March 2018. Xiaomi Redmi 4A specifications, features
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. Under the hood, is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The internal storage on the smartphone can further be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. For photography, the Redmi 4A sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash. Fuelling the device is a 3,120mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
