India is the second largest smartphone market in the world, with the affordable segment being the most lucrative one. Xiaomi has been one of the successful smartphone vendors in India, and most of its devices are priced under Rs 10,000 bracket. These include the Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime, Redmi 3s Prime+, Redmi Note 3 and the newly launched Redmi Note 4. With the Redmi 4A priced at Rs 5,999, Xiaomi has hit the sweet spot, and the smartphone could be a game changer in its segment.

With thickness of 8.5mm, the Redmi 4A is a compact smartphone and should comfortably fit in one’s palms.
