Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 6-series smartphones in China on June 12, which is tomorrow. Three smartphones are expected to be unveiled – the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Plus. While we have already come across leaked photos of the smartphone, Xiaomi president Lin Bin has shared a teaser on Weibo which shows off the front panel of the smartphone.
As we can see, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 will feature a full-screen display with 18:9 display aspect ratio, without the notch. However, despite the edge-to-edge display, the side bezels are relatively thick. The poster also reveals single front-facing camera along with an LED flash. The Redmi 6 series smartphones are likely to support AI portrait selfies, which comes as a part of MIUI 10. Xiaomi also recently teased the Redmi 6 with lag-free performance even after long-term use, and it remains to be seen on how the company can live up to the promise.
