Back in November 2017, Xiaomi had cut the price of Redmi Note 4 (3GB+32GB) to Rs 9,999. Now, the company has announced a price drop of Rs 1,000 for the Redmi Note 4 variant with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. The revised price now stands at Rs 10,999, instead of Rs 12,999. The price drop is applicable on Amazon India, mi.com, and Flipkart.

Xiaomi took the smartphone market by storm with the launch of Redmi Note 3. The popularity continued with the successor, Redmi Note 4 which was launched last year. The proved to be more successful than the Redmi Note 3 in a shorter span of time. According to a report by IDC, Xiaomi managed to register a growth of 120 percent in Q3, 2017, out of which Redmi Note 4 alone garnered roughly 40 percent of the share. The IDC report further highlights that the Redmi Note 4 is the highest selling smartphone across top 50 cities in India.

Coming to the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display. At the heart of the smartphone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture up front. The Redmi Note 4 is powered by a 4,100mAh battery.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has today partnered with Smartbox to launch new smart delivery option on its e-commerce platform Mi.com and its app. The option allows users to get Xiaomi products delivered to their nearest Smartbox digital locker. Smartbox currently offers digital parcel lockers across Delhi and NCR. The company said that they will soon expand the service in other cities too.
