Details about Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 4X have continued to emerge online ahead of an official announcement. Recently, the smartphone was spotted on TENAA, giving us a sneak peek at its design and specifications. Now, live images of a new Xiaomi smartphone, believed to be the Redmi Note 4X, have been leaked on Weibo. The latest leak though shows a different design of the smartphone as compared to the images spotted on TENAA.
The leaked images, posted by PlayfulDroid, reveal the front and back of the Redmi Note 4X. While the new leaks reveal a phsical home button on the front, the image seen on TENNA had shown the smartphone lacking a home button and instead had capacitive navigation buttons. The latest leaked images also reveal a different design for the back. While the antenna bands are shown running along the top and bottom of the smartphone just like the TENAA image, there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear. If the latest leaked image is true, it means that the physical home button on Redmi Note 4X will double as a fingerprint scanner. The overall design of the back is quite reminiscent to the HTC One M-series phones.
