Reports also hint that Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will launch in India as Redmi Note 5. To recap, Redmi 5 Plus was launched in China December last year.
In other news, Xiaomi MEE7S and MET7S devices have been spotted in China again, but this time the smartphones have cleared 3C certification in China. The processor is expected to be paired with 32GB internal storage with 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with 4GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the smartphone is said to run the old Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI 9 on top. The smartphone is expected to be backed by 4,000mAh battery.
