Chinese electronics giant and smartphone maker Xiaomi is planning to focus on the European market. A recent Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certificate leaked the device lineup that the company is planning to launch in Europe confirming its plans. According to the certificate that was first spotted by Killer Features, Xiaomi is planning to bring Mi 7 Lite, Mi S1, Mi S2, Mi S3, Redmi S1, Redmi S2, Redmi S3, Mi Mix 2s, Mi Mix 3s, Redmi Note 6, Redmi Note 6a Prime, Redmi Note 6 Prime, Redmi 6 Plus, Redmi 6A Plus, Redmi A1, and Redmi A2.
The EEC certificate was issued to Xiaomi on May 11, 2018, and it is valid until December 31, 2023. The list includes some existing devices while hinting at a number of unreleased devices. It confirms that Xiaomi is planning to launch a ‘Lite’ version of its upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 7 while plans to launch Xiaomi Mi Mix 3s.
However, the list was a bit confusing as it adds both the Mi S lineup including the Mi S1, S2, and S3 along with the Redmi S lineup including Redmi S1, S2, and S3. We at BGR India think that it may very well be the Mi A1, A2 and A3 instead of the Mi S1, S2 and S3 because there is no trace of S1, S2, and S3. The Redmi S series exists as the company just launched its Redmi S2 smartphone in the Chinese market.

Talking about the rest of the lineup, some devices have already been launched while the company has not announced any plans to launch remaining devices that include the Redmi Note 6 lineup, Redmi 6A Plus, and Mi Mix 3s. Take this device lineup with a grain of salt as Xiaomi has not issued any official statement about the leaked list at the time of writing.
This comes days after Canalys, a UK-based market analyst firm released Smartphone share in the first-quarter of 2018 in Europe. According to the report, Xiaomi has experienced more than “999%” increase in its market share with 2.4 million units and 5.3 percent market share.
