Xiaomi has had a history of launching weird connected-products. Well, today the company has launched yet another product under its MIJIA crowdfunding platform. Called, the A&D e-cigarette, it is a Nutrient-Rich e-cigarette and is Xiaomi’s 140th product in its connected platform portfolio. The product is priced at RMB 199 (Rs 1,900 approximately). It comes in four flavors – Apple, Mint, Grapefruit, and Vanilla.
In terms of design, the e-cigarette comes in a compact stick-like shape, and is only 12cm long. The body is made of textured stainless-steel and comes in multiple colors. At first glance, the A&D e-cigarette looks like any other crayons stick. According to Gizmochina, the e-cigarette utilizes an advanced technology for the intake fog and a smart automatic induction that controls air flow. In this case, when the device is sucked, the light will automatically turn on and it goes off when not in use.
The e-cigarette contains zero calories and contains Vitamins C, A, B6, E, and B12 as well as co-enzyme Q10 inside it. There are also other micro-nutrients which are said to be beneficial to human body. For now, the product is only available in China. Just like all other Xiaomi connected products, it is highly unlikely that the A&D e-cigarette will launch in other markets including India.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Huami has also launched the second version of its Amazfit smartwatch. Called the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 2, the smartwatch was unveiled along with an Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 2S Premium Edition variant. Both Amazfit Watch 2S and Sports Smartwatch 2 come with water resistance capacity, ceramic bezels, as well as 316L stainless steel buttons.
