As expected, Xolo today launched the 8X-1000 smartphone running on the company’s custom UI called HIVE. The octa-core smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999 and it will be available from next week onwards.
The talking point on the smartphone is Xolo’s HIVE UI, which not only introduces a flatter and minimalistic look, but also introduces a unique feature called Connect. This feature essentially lets users interact with the company’s developers to give them feedback as well as request new features for their smartphone. Another feature called Edge, which is basically a platform for designers to create and share themes, wallpapers, and ringtones for users. You can check out some more features here.
As far as specifications of the Xolo 8X-1000 is concerned, it flaunts a 5-inch HD display with Asahi Dragontrail glass, while the back too boasts a glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
