XOLO B700 launched for Rs 8,999, features a 3,450mAh battery, 4.3-inch screen and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich


After recently launching the Q800, the company’s first quad-core smartphone and the X1000 based on the Intel Medfield chipset, XOLO today launched a new phone today called the XOLO B700. Starting an all new series of phones called the ‘XOLO B’ series, the B700 is an Android ICS smartphone priced at Rs 8,999.

In terms of specifications, 3G-enabled Dual-SIM XOLO B700 sports a 4.3-inch IPS qHD (960×540 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, PowerVR SGX 531 GPU and 512MB RAM. It also includes features like a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 4GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card, connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The most impressive aspect of the phone though is the massive 3,450mAH battery powering it, which is by far one of the biggest batteries on an Android smartphone.
