Xolo Play X2-1100

Not so long ago, Xolo had launched the Play 8X-1200 for Rs 19,990 targeted specifically at gaming enthusiasts. Now Xolo has launched another smartphone for gamers, but at a lower price point. The Indian smartphone vendor has launched the Xolo Play 8X-1100 with a price tag of Rs 14,999.

The Xolo Play 8X-1100 comes with a 5-inch 1080p IPS display. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM, unlike the Play 8X-1200 which runs on a 2GHz octa-core processor. The Xolo Play 8X-1100 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The more expensive Xolo Play 8X-1200 has 32GB of internal storage space. The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera powered by Sony Exmor RS sensor coupled with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The dual-SIM smartphone packs a 2,100mAh battery, runs on Android KitKat and is available in white color. On the connectivity front, the Xolo Play 8X-1100 offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, NFC and Bluetooth options.

At this price point, the Play 8X-1100 will be up against other octa-core smartphones like the Alcatel OneTouch X+. Panasonic P81 and the Gionee E7 Mini among others.
