Xolo Q1011 Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone launched, priced at Rs 9,999


Xolo has launched yet another Android KitKat smartphone in the sub-Rs 10,000 range called the Q1011. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Q1011 flaunts a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also included is an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, and a 2,250mAh battery that the company claims is good enough for 26.82 hours of talktime and 509 hours on standby mode.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The Q1011 also supports gestures, so you can simply draw letters to access apps. For example scribbling the letter e will open the web browser, c will open the dialer and m will open the camera. As an introductory offer, Xolo will be bundling a free 16GB microSD card for the first 3,000 buyers.
