Xolo Q700 launched for Rs 9,999, features a 4.5-inch display, quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
A couple of days back we reported about the Xolo Q700 which was listed on some e-commerce websites under a ‘coming soon’ badge. Today the Indian smartphone vendor has launched the quad-core phone and as expected has priced it at Rs 9,999.
To remind you of the specifications of the device, the Dual-SIM Q700 sports a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor, PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Other features on the phone are a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA camera at the front, 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 2,400mAH battery. On the software front, the Q700 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
With a price point of Rs 9,999, the Xolo Q700 will be up against the likes of recently launched quad-core phones like the Intex Aqua Wonder Quadcore, and Karbonn’s S1 Titanium and S5 Titanium among others, except that it has the advantage of running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
