Xolo Q900 smartphone launched with 4.7-inch 720p display and quad-core processor for Rs 12,999
Xolo has launched the Q900 smartphone which falls in its ‘Q’ series of smartphones priced within an affordable range. For Rs 12,999, this phone comes as an attractive offering with a 720p display, quad-core processor with 1GB of internal storage and features dual-SIM compatibility with support for 3G on one SIM. Recently, Xolo was also in news for working on launching its first LTE enabled smartphone – the LT900 in first week of November. Following which Micromax also confirmed its LTE devices in the making. And besides these, the company’s website also has listed the A500L and the A600 with full specifications but has not officially announced these yet.
Talking of the specifications, the Xolo Q900 smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch HD TFT (1280x720p) display. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Besides, there is a 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and is capable of recording videos at 1080p, and has a 2-megapixel front camera with support for video calling. Other features include support for dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, and a 1800mAh battery with up to 13 hours of talk time on 2G and 10 hours on 3G and a standby time of 384 hours on 2G and 298 hours on 3G.
The Xolo Q900 is available in white color for Rs 12,999, and will compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas HD among others.
