Xolo Win Q900s Windows Phone smartphone now available in India for Rs 9,999

Indian vendor Xolo has launched the Windows Phone-powered Xolo Win Q900s. The smartphone is now available for sale for Rs 9,999. Earlier this year, the company had also launched a Windows 8 tablet called the Xolo Win

Announced in June, the dual-SIM capable Xolo Win Q900s sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display. Powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage, the handset runs Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box. Cell shutterbugs will appreciate the 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash at the back, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. A 1,800mAh battery powers the device.

For a refresh, Windows Phone 8.1 brings a plethora of new features to the operating system, chief among them are the voice assistant service Cortana, the action center, and Word Flow keyboard.

It should also be noted that unlike other Lumia smartphones, the Xolo Q900s can be charged when the phone is powered off. Readers might also find the recently launched Micromax Canvas Win W121 interesting as it offers a larger screen and costs a bit less. You can order Xolo Win Q900s from the company’s official website.
