Xolo today launched the Win tablet, its first Windows OS tablet priced at Rs 19,990 in an exclusive retail partnership with Flipkart in India. Announced at the CES earlier this year, the tablet has been launched with a number of offers including buyback discount scheme, which brings its price down by a minimum of Rs 3,000.
As a part of the buyback scheme, buyers can exchange a smartphone, tablet as well as a laptop for the Xolo Win, and pay Rs 16,990 instead of Rs 19,990. The discount will vary from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000, depending up on the gadget you are exchanging.
Other launch day offers on the tablet include Rs 200 cashback for rating or reviewing the product post purchase. There is also a lucky draw, wherein 10 tablet buyers will be entitled to Rs 1,000 cashback, as well as an additional 50 percent rebate on next purchase of a Bluetooth keyboard from the site. To recap on the specifications, the Xolo Win flaunts a 10.1-inch (1366×768 pixels) display. It is powered by an AMD A4 Elite Mobility ‘Temas’ dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and paired with Radeon HD 8180 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
Other features include of a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1-megapixel front-facing camera, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It has a 3,550mAh battery, which as per the company’s claims is good enough to last up to 7 hours. The key attraction of this tablet is that it runs on Windows 8.1 operating system, and comes pre-loaded with Microsoft’s Office suite.
