Zen Mobile UltraTab A700 3G launched in India for Rs 9,499

Zen Mobile has launched the UltraTab A700 3G in India for Rs 9,499, which includes a calling feature similar to the Micromax Funbook Talk. This also means that the tablet features a SIM card slot and also 3G via a USB dongle.

Apart from this it features a 7-inch 5-point multi-touch display, a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of DDR 3 RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and is quite light weight at on 345 grams. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has 4GB of internal memory and supports TransFlash cards that supports up to 32GB of maximum storage.

Zen Mobile has tied up with HomeShop18 to distribute the tablet, but one must admit it will have its work cut out considering it goes up against Micromax, which is offering its product for a much lower price tag.
