Google has rolled out its call from Gmail feature to 150 more countries in 38 languages. The feature is rolling out as you read and soon users will be able to make calls to any phone in India for $0.02/minute (roughly Re 1/minute) and to US and Canada at $0.01/minute from anywhere in the world. The rates are cheaper than what one would pay on Skype Out and there is no connection fee, either. Users will only have to pay VAT applicable in their region while buying calling credit from Google Checkout. You can check out calling rates to different countries here.
