Hi, There is no Chance that Apple iPhone 4S is launching in India on Nov 24th. As per the Statistics 4S will be launched in India by End of Jan 2012.
(Apple always releases the iPhone on a Friday globally.) This is Wrong -They only releases it on a Wednesday.

I don’t think it will be out so soon. Their main feature, Siri is not yet ready for the Indian accent. I have been using 4S for past 2 days and Siri is definitely not ready for India.

I don’t think Apple will put time to work on Siri for Indian accent so soon. And if they launch it without Siri working well for 4S then it going to create negative publicity for iPhone. (Which I don’t think any company would want)

So to sum it up:

- Either they will launch Indian accent version of Siri
- Or they will delay the launch (and launch it once Siri is working fine for Indians)

The pricing should be around

25-32K for 8 GB Model
37-49K for 16 GB Model
and approximately 5-7K difference between every Model after this. (32 and 64)

That’s nearly 12 bucks a minute.

Uhm. The problem is that today it launched in Singapore at 37k, which is higher than it’s ever been there and since it’s always more expensive expect a 40k price point for 4S here.

Its totally wrong when iphone 4 was launched Iphone 3GS cost 550$+42$ taxes(Rs27000) where as in india it cost around Rs 19000….. So there is no logic of price u hve calculated…… In fact Iphone factory unlocked in India is one of cheapest price in world……….

So its dam sure that
iphone 3GS Rs16000
iphone 4 Rs25000
iphone 4S Rs35000

@Guru Apple said launch in over 70 countries before December. So November end makes sense. Also, iPad launch within 2 months in India gives enough reason to point to this date.

I wish there were phones sold on contract basis in India too. ‘Cause that’ll most probably cost around 10k and each person could afford it and fulfill his/her desire of a brand new iPhone 4S. We can adjust with the network thing. Locked phones don’t cause vexations. But they do, sometimes, when you’ve to change the SIM Card again and again. Anyways, if a thing can be created, at the same time, it can be destroyed too. Technology and skill of people will learn to UNLOCK iPhone 4S too. And we’ll soon have the ULTIMATE thing, yet, AFFORDABLE :)
