Apple has developed a custom SIM card for the iPad Air 2 but it won’t work in India

One of the biggest new features of the iPad Air 2 that Apple didn't reveal on stage is a custom nano-SIM card that Apple has developed. The SIM card lets users jump between carriers without having to replace SIM cards. They can simply select the carrier from whom they want a short-term data plan and can even switch carriers later, if they want. Apple has tied up with major US carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint as well as some carriers in the UK. This will come handy especially when the user is traveling internationally, as they can simply choose a carrier and data plan without having to go to a store and get a new SIM card.
