There has been a lot of confusion around when Apple will launch the new iPhones in India, some created by Apple itself followed by speculation in the media. Soon after Apple unveiled the new iPhones on September 9, a banner on the Apple India official website suggested that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be available in India on September 26. Overnight, the banner was changed and the new date suggested the launch would happen on October 17.
