The dual-core processor equipped Huawei Ascend G330 is now available in India via online retailer FlipKart for Rs 10,990. It flaunts a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, a dual core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1GHz based on the ARM cortex A5 design which works in concert with 512MB of RAM.

Additionally, it has a 1,500 mAh battery, 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded via a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is not clear if this phone will receive the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

At a price of Rs 10,990 it seems to be a power packed device, considering it flaunts a dual-core chipset and also has a display with a WVGA resolution.

Huawei has officially announced that it will be making an Ascend device, which will be powered by Windows Phone 8, which was unveiled yesterday by Microsoft.  While no hardware details have been shared, we can almost definitely expect the device to utilize, multicore processors and high resolution 720p displays, now that Windows Phone supports these hardware features. Another biggie could be NFC, which also is now baked into Windows Phone 8.

The above mentioned features seem to be a sealed deal considering the Ascend is the flagship smartphone line for Huawei and Windows Phone 8 defiantly aims at this very market. Huawei has revealed that this device will first hit China, Europe and the US, though it has not specified when exactly the device will launch.
