Ever since the release of BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry is leaving no stone unturned in getting more apps for the new platform. Today the smartphone vendor announced it has over 100,000 applications on the BlackBerry World store for its flagship Z10 smartphone. BlackBerry has launched the much-awaited Z10 in India, the first smartphone to run on the company’s latest BlackBerry 10 platform. The BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2-inch 1280×768 pixel display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Krait processor from Qualcomm, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording and a 2-megapixel camera on the front that can shoot videos in 720p resolution. Today’s BlackBerry 10 launch event wasn’t just about the new smartphones – the Z10 and the Q10 – but also about new software features in the operating system that was not shown off earlier.
