Following the leaked photos which showed off a 360 degree view of the HTC One (M8) Prime, an alleged photo of the company's unannounced One (M8) Ace smartphone has leaked online. The photo posted by ifanr give a glimpse of the phone's back panel which seems to be made out of plastic, confirming that the Ace would be a relatively cheaper, plastic variant of the One (M8). HTC too has teased a new phone by tweeting that "More beautiful curves coming soon," which could indicate that the launch is not far off. More →

HTC forecasts profit and doubled sales in Q2

Taiwan's struggling smartphone maker HTC said today that it expects to swing to profitability and double its revenues in the three months to June, aided by the good sales of its new flagship cellphone. HTC posted a net loss of 1.88 billion Taiwanese dollars ($62.3 million) in the first quarter, while sales hit a five-year low of 33.1 billion Taiwanese dollars. But the company said it was ready to usher in a brighter picture for the second quarter after what it said was the launch of "our critically acclaimed HTC One (M8)" in March. More →

HTC M8 Prime reportedly in the works, could be a premium variant of the One (M8)

We have been hearing about HTC working on the M8 Ace, an affordable variant of its flagship smartphone. However, it seems that the company is also planning to launch another variant of the One (M8) and could name it as the M8 Prime. Prolific leakster @evleaks is teasing a new HTC phone, which it is referring to as the HTC M8 Prime, hinting that the phone is in works. However, it has not provided specs details of the phone and there is no information on how the phone is different from the One (M8). More →

HTC has previously been rumored to be working on two new variants of its flagship One (M8) smartphone including the One M8 Ace. Initially, it was believed that it would be the One Max equivalent of the One (M8) with a bigger display. However, a new report from Engadget suggests that the One (M8) Ace would essentially be a cheaper version of the flagship smartphone with a plastic unibody. IPL 2014: HTC One M8 becomes the official phone of the Delhi Daredevils

Smartphone maker HTC said, it has partnered with IPL team Delhi Daredevils to make its 'HTC One M8' as the official phone for the GMR Group owned cricket franchise. The Taiwanese firm recently unveiled the new flagship model in India with a price tag of Rs 49,900. "The Cricket League has an incredible reach and its popularity cuts across demographics and geographies.Delhi Daredevils is one of the most youthful and exciting teams in the League with a good blend of international and Indian stars," HTC India, Country Head Faisal Siddiqui said in a statement.  More →

HTC One (M8) launched in India for Rs 49,900: Specifications and features

After announcing its new flagship device almost a month back, HTC today launched the One (M8) in India today. The One (M8) has been priced at Rs 49,900 and will be available from May 7. HTC also revealed that the Google Play Edition of the One (M8) will be available for pre-order today, and will be available for purchase a few weeks later on the Google Play Store. This would make it the first Google Play Edition device to be available in India. More →
