In a long blog post, Microsoft's Charles Morris explains why Microsoft decided to start from scratch for its new web rendering engine for Windows 10. The company finds it enough of a burden to keep up with new web standards while also maintaining compatibility with older versions in Internet Explorer, Morris says.
