Apart from all the MacBooks, Apple has also released a new smart case for the second and third generation iPads. The new smart case not only has a smart cover but also a case to protect the back of the device. Apple’s new iPad was launched on March 7 and is currently available in 10 countries – US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. While people from other countries have to either wait for the device to get launched in their country or can get it from some other place where its available, of course in a legal way. With the iPad 3 release imminent in a couple of weeks, a Portuguese blog, BlogDoiPhone, has leaked screenshots of iOS 5.1, which is supposedly going to release with the iPad 3. Well it’s that time of the year again. You know iPad leaks time. This time around the guys at RepairLabs are reporting that the iPad 3 will have a larger battery compartment, a different logic board, possibly a different camera all in the same form factor not even a millimeter thicker. Apple is apparently planning a big media event in New York City post CES, according to an AllThingsD report. The report also mentions that this event will most probably have nothing to do with the rumored Apple Television or even the iPad 3.
