Parallels has launched the version 8 of its award winning Mac virtualization software in India for Rs 3,999. Apple today announced the latest version of its Mac OS X, Mountain Lion, had been downloaded over 3 million times in four days since its release. This, according to Apple, has been the most successful Mac OS X release in the company’s history. Mountain Lion is available for $19,99 and can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store for Lion or Snow Leopard users. Security software maker Sofos discovered a new malware, which affects both OS X and Windows, barely hours before Apple rolled out Mountain Lion. The malware known as ‘Crisis’ is being billed as a cross platform attacker, which feigns as an Adobe Flash player while it is actually an archive file. (more…)Google+

Just a few hours ago Apple dropped a massive bombshell in the form of the presser for the developer preview for Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Apple today released the developer preview of its next Mac OS X update it calls Mountain Lion. While consumers will be able to get it only later in the summer as an update from the Mac App Store, there is one feature that everyone can use it right away on their Lion Machines.
