Mercury has launched the mTab Rio 9.7-inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet in India for Rs 11,999.  Notably, unlike most low cost tablets, this one features a display that uses In-Plane-Switching (IPS), a technology that is known to provide accurate colors and superlative viewing angles.
