Microsoft is officially launching its Office 365 aka Office 2013 in India tomorrow but it has already put up the various pricing plans on its website. The Office 365 Home Premium version that offers Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access on five PCs or Macs starts from Rs 399.99 per month or Rs 3,999.99 per year. Microsoft has just unveiled its new Office suite (it is not calling it Office 2013 or Office 15) that will work with Windows 8 devices, which will be launched later this year. How often does it happen that one has a PDF file and one has to revert to Adobe Reader or similar equivalent to open the file. For years, users have yearned for built-in PDF support in Microsoft Office or atleast in the Microsoft Word module of Office. According to multiple sources it is believed that this functionality is finally coming in Office 2013, which is scheduled to hit the Consumer Preview later this month. (more…)Google+
