Microsoft has announced two new Windows 8 compliant mice, the Sculpt comfort and Sculpt mobile mouse. The Sculpt comfort mouse costs $39.95 (approx Rs 2,220), while the Sculpt mobile mouse costs $29.95 (approx Rs 1,163). Both mice have been design specifically keeping Windows 8 in mind and both feature dedicated Windows keys. (more…)Google+

After announcing the Xbox One with a brand new Kinect sensor, Microsoft has announced that it will deliver the new Kinect sensor for Windows in 2014 and has hinted that it will release the SDK at its Build developer conference starting in June. (more…)Google+

Yesterday Microsoft announced the Xbox One which will be the successor to the Xbox 360. It showcased multiple new features, and there was a great focus on the new Kinect module. In fact, the Kinect could be used to operate each and every aspect of the console. One of the more peculiar features of the Xbox One is that it can be activated using a voice command to start the machine. Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox One, which is the successor to the Xbox 360. The new console features advanced voice recognition capabilities it understands natural language and users can navigate the UI and turn on the console using voice. A couple of months ago Sony launched a preemptive strike and announced the hardware specifications for the PlayStation 4. In the world of gaming consoles, Sony and Microsoft are arch rivals. Only a couple of days ago Microsoft had announced an official YouTube app for Windows Phone, it seems like this app is going to be short lived. TheVerge is reporting that Google has asked Microsoft to take down the app and halt all installs immediately, because of the lack of ads. Google terms this as a violation of API use. (more…)Google+

Tablets continued their upward trend in the market with nearly 49.2 million units shipped in the first quarter of this year. Last year was a massive year for Microsoft. It re-imagined the Windows experience and created a common design language across its entire product line, but at the same time it changed its logo for the first time in 20 years and also rebranded the Windows and Office divisions with new logos.
