Ever since Nvidia started its Tegra line of mobile chipsets, it has been quite open about its product roadmap. The Tegra 3 was Kal-El, the Tegra 4 was codenamed Wayne and the Tegra 5 was Logan. The next in line is the Tegra 4 and the people at ChipHell have leaked the specs of Nvidia’s incoming mobile chipset. (more…)Google+

The roadmap for Nvidia Tegra 4 has been leaked and from we gather the first generation of Nvidia’s next generation SoC will hit markets only in the first quarter of 2013. VR Zone which published the story initially also reveals another nugget that suggests there will also be a LTE version of the Tegra 3, but that model will only come in Q3 of 2013. (more…)Google+

Earlier in the day we posted a story saying that HTC will launch its latest flagship, the One X in April in India. Now corroborating the news HTC India has even opened a sign-up page for the One X which will let prospective buyers know when the device will be available in the market. (more…)Google+

Asus has announced it has dropped the ‘Eee’ from its Transformer tablets and renamed them the Transformer Pads while showing off two new 10.1-inch Android tablets at MWC – the Transformer Pad Infinity and the Transformer Pad 300. Apart from releasing it’s Ascend D smartphone, Huawei has unveiled its homegrown K3 quad-core processor, which happens to power the Ascend D, at its presser at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. LG is likely to debut its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone running on a quad-core processor at next month’s Mobile World Congress. PocketNow has snagged a photograph of what it claims to be the LG X3 running on nVidia’s Tegra 3 chipset. CES is just about to kick-off in a few hours and the folks at Engadget have laid their hands on a tasty little leak – the Lenovo LePad K2010. According to the report the devices dons a Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor, a 8-megapixel camera and a Full-HD 1920×1200 display. Last week the boys from The Verge had filled a story on a mystery Acer Tablet and now Acer has finally shown off the device. If rumors are to be believed, HTC Edge could be the world’s first smartphone to feature a quad-core processor. According to Pocketnow, this HTC beast will be based on NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor, the same Kal-El processor which the company showed off in a ‘Glowball’ demo video a few months ago.
