Despite promising to be on all promising smartphone OS platforms, Samsung has not launched any Windows Phone devices after launching the Omnia W. However, a few reports are claiming that the vendor is planning to announce three new Windows Phone devices by the end of this year out of which two of them will run on Apollo and the third one will be based on Tango. For now, all we know is that this Tango device is codenamed as Mandel and will most likely feature 4G LTE connectivity. (more…)Google+

According to British website TechRadar, Samsung will be bringing out Windows Phone 8 smartphones when Microsoft releases the platform. The folks at WPCentral are reporting the existence of the HTC HD8 running a build of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. While one might think HTC would reserve its HD series of Windows Phone devices for the next major build of Windows Phone – Apollo, looks like the device is running the 7740 build of Windows Phone 7.
