A few online retailers such as the Flipkart.com and the Koovs have slashed the prices of the the Motorola XOOM tablets by as much as Rs 10,000. Folks at The Mobile Indian first reported that Wi-Fi only 32GB version of the XOOM is now available at Koovs for Rs 21,500 and the 32GB (Wi-Fi+3G) version is up for an order at just Rs 25,000. Motorola on Thursday announced its new XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablets. Motorola Mobility on Thursday released its second quarter 2011 earnings and despite recent analyst downgrades, the company recorded a strong quarter. Motorola posted net revenues of $3.3 billion, up 28% from the same time period last year. In addition, mobile device revenues were $2.4 billion, up 41% from the second quarter of 2010.
